What is the best type of camera for a teenage girl?
She is 16 and wants a digital camara for christmas. a camera that has good quality but isnt totally overpriced. she had a nikon camera last time and didnt like it to much. if you have any suggestions let me know! thanks!
I recommend any one of Canon’s excellent SD models. They’re popular, look good, are fast performers and take great quality images. There are quite a few models to choose from, so you shouldn’t have any trouble picking one within your budget.
You will also need to buy a fast SD or SDHC memory card (Class 4 or Class 6 speed). Format it before first use when brand new (the manual shows you how).
A small protective case is also a good idea because it will protect the camera and LCD screen from scratches when not in use.
All cameras come with an attachable wrist/hand strap. Insist that it’s always used, because it WILL save the camera from permanent damage if it gets dropped.
